Croatian Tio Perića appointed new manager of Abha
Abha has appointed Croatian Tio Peric as the head coach of the first football team, replacing his compatriot Damir Buric, whose contract was terminated by the management following a decline in results in the Saudi Pro League.
The appointment decision came after a series of negative results that left Abha at the bottom of the table, having collected only two points from ten matches, during which they achieved two draws and suffered eight defeats.
The club management has decided to promote Beriga from the youth sector to lead the first team, leveraging his knowledge of the players and familiarity with the team's details in an attempt to change the course of the season.
Abha has stated that their new coach possesses previous coaching experience, having worked with several clubs, including Al Nassr, Al-Arabi, Al Riyadh, and Al Raed.
Birega has previously had a coaching experience with FC Noah Yerevan before moving to Abha just before the start of the current season, and he is now starting his new mission with the first team.
