Al Faisaly secures second win in Saudi Pro League against Abha

Al Faisaly secured an important victory against their hosts Abha with a single goal, in the match held on Tuesday as part of the postponed game from the 8th round of the Saudi Pro League, marking their second win of the current season.

The first half ended in a goalless draw, despite the back-and-forth attempts from both teams to open the scoring, before the resolution was postponed to the second half of the match.

In the 70th minute, Flávio Medeiros succeeded in scoring the only goal of the match, granting Al Faisaly the advantage and leading them to three valuable points away from home.

Al Faisaly has moved up to 10 points after this victory, advancing to 14th place in the Saudi Pro League table. This marks their second win since the start of the current season.

On the other hand, Abha failed to exploit the factors of home ground and crowd support, leaving their tally frozen at just two points, and they continue to occupy the last position in the Saudi Pro League standings.

This loss increases the difficulty of Abha's position in the standings, while the win gives Al Faisaly an important boost to improve its position and move away from the relegation zone in the upcoming rounds.
