Nabil Fekir reveals details of his new position with Abha

Nabil Fekir, the French player of Abha, defended his team's performance despite the loss against Al-Qadisiyah by a score of 2-1 in the ninth round of the Saudi Pro League, confirming that the team did not perform poorly.

Nabil Fekir, in statements to the 'Thamaniya' channel after the match, said that the game was difficult, but he felt that the players of Abha performed well and showed a positive mental state that gives them motivation for upcoming matches.

The player denied that the continued absence of the first victory has caused psychological pressure on the team, explaining that the start of the season has not been easy, and that everyone will continue to work together to bring Abha back on the right track.

Nabil Fekir discussed his recurring role as a central midfielder, despite his attacking nature, explaining that the coach asks him to perform this role, and that he adheres to the tactical instructions and executes what is required of him on the pitch.

Nabil Fekir's comments came after another loss for Abha, who failed to capitalize on the chances available against Al Qadisiyah, continuing their struggles at the start of the current Saudi Pro League season.

Abha remain at the bottom of the table, having collected two points from two draws in eight matches, alongside six defeats, without achieving any victory since the start of the season.
