Tottenham and Newcastle target Milan duo in January
Tottenham and Newcastle are considering signing Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Fikayo Tomori from AC Milan during the upcoming winter transfer window, with the likelihood of their departures increasing, according to TEAMtalk.
The site clarified that Milan are open to selling players, especially since their contracts expire next summer, prompting the club to consider offers made in January instead of risking their departure for free.
Fikayo Tomori, who will turn 29 in December, is attracting interest from Chelsea, his former club, as well as Manchester United, Aston Villa, Newcastle, Sunderland, and Fulham. Meanwhile, Tottenham and Newcastle are monitoring the situation of Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who is 30 years old, alongside Brentford and Nottingham Forest.
The same source indicated that Tottenham and Newcastle have inquired about the possibility of signing the players together, while Newcastle may benefit from its previous relationship with Milan, following the completion of the transfers of Sandro Tonali and Malick Thiaw.
The players are keen to return to the Premier League as agents work to identify clubs willing to make serious offers ahead of the winter transfer window.
