Portuguese Vitinha has regained his status as one of the key elements of Paris Saint-Germain's system under coach Luis Enrique, after overcoming a period of relative decline in form, returning to play a pivotal role in controlling the team's rhythm and playmaking.

Luis Enrique's great appreciation for his player was evident before the match against Barcelona, when he interrupted an interview Vitinha was conducting with Canal+ and said with a smile: "What a player! What a player!". The Spanish coach did not stop there, as he also sent him a motivational message, affirming his ability to develop further, before adding: "But what a player!".

Vitinha addressed the situation with a smile, acknowledging his coach's style of motivating players and raising expectations. He said: "He likes to put us under pressure!"
