Petrol Asyut prepare to file complaint against referee in Zamalek match

Petrol Asyut have expressed their strong dissatisfaction with the refereeing decisions in their match against Zamalek, and they intend to file an official complaint against the match referee Hamada El Qalaoui, according to journalist Ali Ahmed.

Shobeir stated that Petrol Asyut sees that Mohamed Awad made an error during one of the plays, after he saved it with his foot before it hit his hand, considering that the play should have been counted as a foul.

The team also raised objections regarding a violent challenge on Ahmed Khaled, Petrol Asyut player, stating that the club believes the referee did not provide adequate protection for its players during the match.

Petrol Asyut lost to Zamalek SC 1-0 on Tuesday evening in the seventh round of the Egyptian League.
