Karteron: Al Ahly FC is like Bayern Munich, and Zamalek SC resembles SSC Napoli

Patrice Carteron, the current head coach of Al Dhafra, has confirmed that his coaching experiences with Al Ahly FC and Zamalek SC in the past were exceptional, noting that he feels more connected to the white team.

Patrice Carteron stated in remarks to Abu Dhabi Sports Channel: "Yes, I have worked with the best two teams in Africa, which are Al Ahly FC and Zamalek SC.. This experience was exceptional and very wonderful."

The French coach added: "The two teams are different; Al Ahly FC is very organized, and I always say it is like Bayern Munich, while Zamalek SC is like SSC Napoli, as they share determination, will, and love for football."

He added: "Zamalek always comes back from nothing and wins, and with Zamalek I won the league after 13 years, and we won against Al Ahly FC who were strong, and won the CAF Champions League at that time."

Patrice Carteron concluded his statements by saying: "We have been good with Zamalek, and I am more of a Zamalek fan than an Al Ahly fan, but I love and appreciate both clubs very much, and I am grateful to have coached these two great teams."
