Araujo: Happy to be at Liverpool, it's too early to talk about this
Ronald Araujo, the Liverpool defender on loan from FC Barcelona, has confirmed he is enjoying his current experience with the English team, but he emphasized that it is still early to discuss the possibility of turning his loan into a permanent transfer.
Ronald Araujo said about his future with Liverpool: "It's too early to talk about these things, I'm just trying to enjoy every day, continue to grow and develop, and gain confidence."
He added: "I am very happy to be here, and my family is happy too, but it is still early to talk about these matters."
Liverpool have the option to buy Uruguayan international Ronald Araujo for £47 million after joining on loan, but Araujo has confirmed that his current focus is on continuing to develop and giving his best.
The Uruguayan defender spoke about the challenges he faced after joining Liverpool, saying: "Joining Liverpool is not easy; there are demands and responsibilities. I have already experienced that at FC Barcelona."
He added: "It depends on the character of each player and how they deal with this challenge. I knew that moving to the Premier League represented a new challenge, but from the moment I arrived, I never doubted that I had to give everything I have, and that is what I am doing."
He concluded: "It is not easy to play in big clubs, but this is what we came for, and this is the task we have to accomplish."
