Saudi Pro League announces financial efficiency second round regulations 2026
The association clarified that the financial review period will end on September 30, 2026, according to the financial regulations for clubs approved for the current year, which are based on the procedures for evaluating submitted claims.
It was confirmed that any claims received after the specified deadline will not be included in the current cycle and will be automatically deferred to the next evaluation cycle, which imposes adherence to the announced date.
The regulations stipulate that the age of the financial claim must not exceed two years from the date of September 30, 2026, in order to be eligible for consideration under the requirements for obtaining the financial efficiency certificate.
The league has also required the relevant parties to submit supporting documents for each claim and complete the required files, to ensure their review according to the approved procedures and to avoid delays in processing the requests.
These measures are part of the Saudi Pro League's efforts to enhance financial oversight and transparency, and to develop mechanisms for handling claims that support the financial efficiency of clubs.
The Saudi Pro League has announced the organized dates for the second round of the financial efficiency certificate for 2026, specifying that October 24 will be the last chance to submit financial claims from the clubs in the competition.
