Inzaghi reveals Salem Al-Dawsari's status for the match against Al-Hazm
Simone Inzaghi, the head coach of Al-Hilal, has revealed that the final decision on Salem Al-Dawsari's participation against Al-Hazm will be made after the last training session ahead of the tenth round match of the Saudi Pro League.
The Italian coach explained during the press conference that Al-Dawsari has suffered a new injury after returning from a long absence, which has kept him out of the matches against Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Pro League and Al-Sadd in the AFC Champions League, before he returned to team training.
Inzaghi indicated that the positions of Salem Al-Dawsari and his teammates Samarfiel and Gabriel Martinelli will vary according to the needs of each match, emphasizing that Al-Hilal has other outstanding options, including Sultan Mendes, while relying on player rotation.
Speaking about the match against Al-Hazm, Al-Hilal's coach stated that his team has prepared for the game over three days, commending the level of the opponent, who showed a strong performance in their last match despite suffering a defeat.
Inzaghi confirmed that he is working daily to improve Al-Hilal's performance and meet the aspirations of its fans, pointing out that the team has players capable of scoring from various positions, whether in attack or midfield.
Al-Hilal host Al-Hazm on Monday evening at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, as part of the tenth round of the Saudi Pro League, with anticipation surrounding Salem Al-Dawsari's potential return after his recent absence.
