Messi leads Inter Miami to victory over Atlanta United in the MLS

Inter Miami secured an important victory against host Atlanta United with a score of 3-1 in the match that brought the two teams together in the American football league, continuing the team's positive results throughout the current season.

Germán Bertrami opened the scoring for Inter Miami in the 45th minute, capitalising on a pass from Luis Suárez, to end the first half with the team leading by one goal to nil.

In the second half, Argentine star Lionel Messi shone, scoring the second goal in the 56th minute with an assist from Bertrami, before returning to add the third goal in the 60th minute, following a decisive pass from Suárez, to strengthen his team's lead and effectively seal the match.

Atlanta United narrowed the gap in the 89th minute, with Fafa Picault scoring his team's only goal from the penalty spot, but that wasn't enough to change the outcome, as the match ended with Inter Miami winning 3-1.

With this victory, Messi continues to shine in the Inter Miami shirt, leading his team with another brace. Inter Miami has now accumulated 55 points, sitting in second place, 12 points behind leaders Nashville SC.
