Disciplinary committee punishes Al-Ittihad due to Al-Hilal classic events

The Saudi Football Federation's Disciplinary and Ethics Committee has imposed a fine of 100,000 Riyals on Al-Ittihad following the actions of its supporters during the match against Al-Hilal in the 8th round of the Saudi Pro League.

The committee based its decision on the match observer's report, which noted that Al-Ittihad fans threw 20 water bottles and an object onto the pitch without injuring anyone.

The penalty came after the clásico match between Al-Hilal and Al-Ittihad, which ended with Al-Hilal winning 3-2, in a match that was characterized by excitement and where the competition continued until the final minutes.

The decision was made due to fan behavior during the match, resulting in a financial penalty for the club according to the applicable disciplinary procedures.

This penalty is part of the efforts of the Disciplinary and Ethics Committee to address fan misconduct in Saudi competitions and to enforce the regulations governing fan behavior inside stadiums.
