Al-Julaydan completes recovery program and returns to Ittihad training
Ittihad have welcomed back their player Ahmed Al-Julaydan, who returned to group training on Friday evening after recovering from an ankle injury sustained during the match against Shabab Al-Ahli in the AFC Champions League Elite.
Ahmed Al-Julaydan had sustained an injury during the match that took place last Tuesday, in the second round of the group stage for the west region, before completing his rehabilitation program and becoming ready to resume training with his teammates.
The first team resumed training at the club's main pitch, where the session included a series of physical and technical exercises, with the coaching staff concentrating on enhancing tactical readiness in preparation for upcoming competitions.
Ittihad continue their preparations for the upcoming match against Al-Ettifaq, scheduled for next Tuesday, in the 10th round of the Saudi Pro League. In this match, they aim to achieve a positive result and improve their position in the standings.
German coach Jens Wissing granted players a day off on Thursday after the postponement of the match against Shabab Al-Ahli in the ninth round to December 19, allowing the team a chance to catch their breath and reorganize their training schedule.
Ahmed Al-Julaydan's return gives the coaching staff an additional option ahead of the match against Al-Ettifaq, while his participation in the game remains dependent on his technical and physical readiness and the coaching staff's assessment before the encounter.
