Liverpool secure future of Cam Williams with first professional contract

Liverpool have announced the signing of their first professional contract with young player Cam Williams, who is 17 years old. The left-back will continue his journey with the English team after signing his contract at the club's AXA training centre.

Williams has been at Liverpool since he was six years old, progressing through the club's youth ranks before joining the Under-18 team during the 2024-2025 season as part of his development within the Reds' academy.

The young player has returned to the pitch at the start of the current season after recovering from a long-term injury, beginning a new phase in his football career, with hopes of continuing to develop and gaining greater opportunities to prove his abilities.

Williams was born in Liverpool and previously represented the Scotland U17 team, as the club continues to invest in young talents aiming to reach the first team in the future.
