Borussia Dortmund continue interest in signing Polish Marcel Rygula

According to the same source, Borussia Dortmund officials held a meeting last Thursday with the player's representatives, attended by Ole Bischof and David Blacha, as negotiations continue regarding the transfer, after his move to the club faltered during the last summer transfer window.

Borussia Dortmund maintains intensive communications with the player, believing he can follow in the footsteps of Polish Lukasz Piszczek, who previously shone in the German team's shirt.

Regula's transfer during the upcoming winter transfer window remains a possibility, but it is also linked to departures from Dortmund, including the potential exit of Regani. Meanwhile, completing the deal during next summer seems to be a more likely option at this time.

The player is looking to take the next step in his career, while Zagłębie Lubin is expected to ask for between €7 and €8 million for his services, after recently joining the Polish national team.
