Referee team for Atlético vs Manchester United in the UEFA Champions League

UEFA has appointed Swedish referee Glenn Nyberg to officiate the match between Atlético and Manchester United, scheduled for the second round of the group stage in the UEFA Champions League.

Nyborg, 37, will officiate the match with the assistance of compatriots Mohbed Beji and Andreas Söderqvist, while Christopher Karlsson will serve as the fourth official.

The Dutch duo of Pol van Boekel and Dennis Higler will take charge of the Video Assistant Referee technology to oversee officiating decisions during the match.

Nibergh previously officiated the match between Atlético and Club Brugge in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League knockout round last February, which ended in a 3-3 draw.

The match will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, at the Metropolitano Stadium, home of Atlético, at 10 PM Cairo time.
