Cesc Fàbregas, the head coach of Como, expressed his satisfaction with his team's performance against AS Roma despite the goalless draw, affirming that the match showcased a good technical level from both teams, while feeling regret for not taking advantage of the numerical superiority in the closing minutes.

Cesc Fàbregas said: "Sometimes football cannot be explained, we are two very attacking and proactive teams, so a 0-0 result is not normal. It was a good match between two teams that respect each other, but both wanted to win. Playing against AS Roma requires a strong character, and I think the first 60 minutes, when both teams were playing with 11 players, saw the best performance from a team against AS Roma since I arrived."

Como's coach stated that his team failed to exploit the numerical disadvantage of their opponents in the final stages, explaining: "There is some regret, because we did not know how to manage the numerical superiority. When the circumstances of the match change, you need to be more patient and move the ball faster. One positive thing is that we did not allow AS Roma to launch counter-attacks despite having an extra player."

Fabregas discussed some technical aspects and refereeing decisions, expressing his admiration for his player Kakiri's performance. He then stated that Wesley deserved to be sent off after his challenge on Diaw, saying: "For me, Wesley's red card in the Diaw incident was very clear, and I see no doubt about it, despite differing opinions on the decision."

He concluded his remarks by asserting that his team delivered a good performance, but they needed greater effectiveness to clinch the match.
