Knee injury forces Michael Fabri to leave Como vs Roma match
An extraordinary incident occurred during the match between Como and Roma in Serie A as referee Michael Fabri suffered a knee injury, forcing him to leave the pitch and not complete officiating the match.
According to what was reported by the Italian site 'Tutto Mercato Web', Simone Souza, the fourth official who started the match as part of the officiating team, has taken over the management of the encounter instead of Fabri.
The report indicated that the injury affected Fabri's ability to continue officiating, as he was quoted saying: "I can't put pressure on my knee if they are playing at this speed," referring to the difficulty he faced during the match.
This incident is unusual in Serie A matches, as the refereeing team had to make a change during the game to ensure its continuation, with Souza taking charge of the remaining minutes.
