Cristante out of AS Roma's plans today against Como

AS Roma have received a blow ahead of their match against Como, scheduled for today, Sunday, in the 6th round of Serie A, after it was confirmed that midfielder Bryan Cristante will miss the game due to a knee injury.

According to Italian network "Sky Sport", Bryan Cristante is suffering from knee inflammation, which has led the medical staff to exclude him from the team's trip to face Como, amid difficulties in his recovery for the upcoming match against Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League.

The absence of Cristante poses a challenge for coach Gian Piero Gasperini, given the player's importance in midfield, having started in the first five rounds of the competition.

Gasperini is expected to rely on Marten de Roon to compensate for Cristante's absence, alongside Manu Koné, in an effort to maintain the team's balance during the upcoming match.
