Vinicius attacks refereeing after red card against Villarreal: what a scandal!

Vinicius Junior, the Brazilian star of Real Madrid, has ramped up his criticisms following his red card against Villarreal in the eighth round of La Liga, in the match that took place at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

The Brazilian star Vinicius Junior posted a picture on his Instagram story, featuring several clips of violent tackles in different matches, without any penalties being handed out to the players involved.

Vinicius Junior attached a picture with a message criticizing what he sees as inconsistency in refereeing decisions, saying: "The one who always gets the yellow and red cards is Vinicius. What a scandal!".

Vinicius Junior's message came after his sending off in the 73rd minute of the match against Villarreal, following a VAR review, where the referee decided to disallow the goal he scored and showed him a red card for pulling the hair of an opposing player during play.

The referee's report indicated that Vinicius Junior continued to protest after his dismissal, approaching the referee loudly and displaying what was described as aggressive behavior, before his teammates intervened to try to contain the situation.

Brazilian star Vinicius Junior is facing a suspension of between one to three matches, meaning he is certain to miss the clash against Sevilla and possibly FC Barcelona as well.
