Diomande scores his first goal for Real Madrid

Ivory Coast's Yan Diomande succeeded in scoring his first goal in the Real Madrid shirt, as he led the royal team to victory over Villarreal with a goal to nil, in the match held at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, as part of the eighth round of LaLiga.

Yan Diomande's goal came in the 63rd minute after an assist from Fede Valverde, giving Real Madrid three valuable points in their campaign in the competition, while also ending his wait for his first goal in the royal club's jersey.

The Ivorian star had played 8 matches during the current season without being able to find the net, before he succeeded in scoring his first goal in his ninth appearance, marking his first scoring contribution in a Real Madrid shirt against Villarreal.

The young Ivorian star has joined Real Madrid this summer from RB Leipzig for €125 million.
