Tite praises Hakim Ziyech's potential

Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech has received praise from Tite, the head coach of Brazilian club Botafogo, who confirmed that the player's technical abilities provide the team with various attacking solutions, thanks to his capacity to occupy multiple positions, especially in playmaking and moving between the lines.

Tite explained in statements to Brazilian media that Hakim Ziyech has the necessary attributes to play in the playmaker position, known as number 10, due to his ability to link midfield and attack, exploit spaces, and create opportunities for opponents. He also mentioned the possibility of utilizing him on the flanks, which would give the team greater flexibility in executing their attacking plans.

Botafogo's coach revealed that Ziyech has received more playing minutes than expected at the start of his time with the team, due to the need for his technical abilities and the characteristics he brings to the attacking system, which reflects the player's importance in the coaching staff's calculations.

In discussing the available alternatives for the playmaking position, Tite explained that Medina is capable of performing the role, but he employs a different style compared to Ziyech. Meanwhile, Montoro was among the options considered for this position before an ankle injury ruled him out of the team's plans.

The head coach also touched on the characteristics of Danilo Pereira, noting that the player tends to advance vertically and link play with the forwards, rather than performing the traditional roles of a playmaker. This makes the presence of Ziyech an additional option to diversify attacking build-up and reach the final third of the pitch.

Tite's statements reflect confidence in the abilities of the Moroccan star, who combines playmaking with movement on the flanks, allowing the coaching staff to benefit from his tactical vision and experience in implementing multiple attacking approaches during upcoming matches.

Botafogo fans have expressed their admiration for Ziyech's performance after he appeared in his first two matches for the Brazilian team, amid interest in what the player can deliver in the upcoming period.
