Egyptian Hamza Abdelkarim, forward for FC Barcelona, returned to his team's training on Tuesday following the conclusion of his mission with the Egypt national team during the international break, as he begins preparations with the Catalan side ahead of their match against Getafe in LaLiga.

Hamza Abdelkarim participated in FC Barcelona's training session after missing previous sessions due to his commitments with the Egypt national team. The training session also saw the return of German Karim Adeyemi to group training.

In contrast, Frenkie de Jong has returned to FC Barcelona training for the first time since suffering a knee injury, marking a new development in his rehabilitation program.

FC Barcelona continue their preparations for the upcoming match against Getafe, scheduled for Saturday in LaLiga. Coach Hans Flick still has several training sessions to complete his team's readiness for the encounter.

Flick is expected to gradually regain the remaining international players in the coming days as the return to domestic competitions approaches, while the coaching staff looks to assess the readiness of those returning from their national teams.

The international break marked an important milestone in Hamza Abdelkarim's international career, as the Egypt forward scored his first goal for the Pharaohs during the match against South Sudan in the Africa Cup of Nations Qualification 2027, after coming on as a substitute.

Hamza Abdelkarim participated in the three matches played by the Egypt national team during the international break, against Angola, South Sudan, and South Africa, where he appeared in all encounters as a substitute.
