FC Barcelona awaits the impact of the international break on its players
The first international break of the season is nearing its end after lasting three weeks, with FC Barcelona watching closely due to the increased minutes played by some of their international players, despite their impressive performances with their national teams.
According to "Mundo Deportivo", Lamine Yamal and Anthony Gordon come at the forefront of FC Barcelona players in terms of minutes played. Lamine has played 203 minutes with Spain in three matches, scoring four goals and providing one assist, while Gordon has participated for 218 minutes with England, scoring a goal in each match.
João Cancelo leads the participation list with 305 minutes in four matches for Portugal, having started all of them. In contrast, Pedri participated for 120 minutes, Firmin for 80 minutes, Olmo for 149 minutes, and Rodri for 185 minutes, while Kobarci played for 180 minutes.
There were some physical concerns during the break, with Erik returning to FC Barcelona after leaving the Spain camp due to discomfort, while Raphinha returned early from the Brazil camp due to muscular discomfort, before tests ruled out any serious injury.
Flick is preparing to manage his players' workloads after their return, with several of them playing their final matches for their national teams today. FC Barcelona will host Getafe on Saturday in their first match following the international break.
