Nigeria suffered a heavy defeat against Guinea-Bissau, losing three goals to nil in their Africa Cup of Nations Qualification match on Tuesday evening.
Franculino opened the scoring for Guinea-Bissau in the 15th minute, before Mama Baldé doubled the hosts' lead in the 65th minute, leaving Nigeria trailing by two goals and facing a tough task to get back into the match.
In the 95th minute, Álvaro Djaló delivered the final blow for Nigeria, scoring Guinea-Bissau's third goal to confirm a big victory for the hosts. This was also Djaló's first goal for his national team.
Guinea-Bissau has increased its tally to 6 points from two matches, while Nigeria remains on 3 points after winning its first round match against Madagascar.
