Jordan Forces a Draw Against Nigeria in Friendly
The Jordanian national team presented a strong test against Nigeria and came out with an exciting 2-2 draw in a friendly match held at the Mardan Sports Complex in Turkey, as part of the "Nashama" preparatory camp for the World Cup.
Mousa Al-Tamari opened the scoring early in the 10th minute to give Jordan the lead, before Nigeria regained balance through Moses Simon, who brought the match back to a draw in the 25th minute. Before the end of the first half, Emmanuel Fernandez turned the tables in favor of the "Eagles" with a second goal in the 41st minute, ending the first half with Nigeria leading 2-1.
In the second half, Jordan increased the pressure and managed to equalize in the 77th minute through Mohamed Al-Dawood, allowing Jordan to secure a valuable draw against Nigeria.
