United Arab Emirates qualify for Gulf Cup 27 semi-finals, ending Bahrain's campaign with three goals

The United Arab Emirates national team secured their place in the semi-finals of the Gulf Cup 27 after defeating Bahrain by three goals to nil in the second round of Group B at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium in Jeddah.

Ousmane Camara opened the scoring for the white team in the 29th minute, rising to meet a cross inside the penalty area and heading the ball into the net past Bahraini goalkeeper Ebrahim Lutfalla.

Guilherme Bala doubled the United Arab Emirates' lead in the 66th minute, unleashing a powerful low shot that settled in the bottom left corner of Bahrain's goal, giving his country a comfortable advantage.

Yuri César suffered an injury before the end of the first half, while one of the United Arab Emirates' attempts hit the crossbar in the 53rd minute. Ali Saleh shone in the 88th minute after scoring the third goal.

The United Arab Emirates national team has increased their tally to 6 points after their second victory, while Bahrain has officially exited the tournament without any points, and Yemen has also been eliminated from contention, as Qatar continues to lead the group.
