Real Madrid officially reveals nature of Konaté's injury and expected absence duration

Real Madrid has announced the nature of defender Ibrahima Konaté's injury after he underwent medical examinations on Thursday, following his struggle with an issue while with the France national team.

The club stated in an official announcement: "After the examinations conducted today on our player Ibrahima Konaté by the medical services at Real Madrid, he has been diagnosed with an injury to the lateral ligament of his right leg, pending the development of his condition."

According to reports, Ibrahima Konaté is expected to miss two weeks for Real Madrid, as he takes advantage of the current international break to recover and return to team training.

Real Madrid are set to resume their LaLiga campaign after the break with a match against Villarreal on October 10, amid hopes that the French defender will be ready to participate in the game.
