Mourinho backs Vinicius despite losing his starting place at Real Madrid

José Félix Díaz has revealed that Real Madrid manager José Mourinho continues to support Brazilian star Vinicius Junior despite his difficult situation due to a dip in form, as well as not participating with the team in the last 4 matches in LaLiga due to suspension.

Brazilian star Vinicius Junior has become aware that he is no longer an indispensable player in Real Madrid's formation, having lost his usual place in the lineup. However, he feels full support from Portuguese manager José Mourinho and the club's management, who are keen to stand by him during this phase.

Mourinho prioritizes restoring Vinicius Junior to his best form, as he seeks to bring back the player who has been making a difference and deciding matches since his arrival at Real Madrid, while expressing his confidence in him both in private conversations and public statements.

The relationship between the Portuguese coach and the Brazilian winger Vinicius Junior is going well, with clear understanding and communication between the two, unlike what happened last season in his relationship with Xabi Alonso. Vinicius and the coaching staff are working to overcome the current phase and regain the level that made him one of the standout stars of the team.

Mourinho's approach to the player reflects his commitment to safeguarding one of Real Madrid's most important assets, as his role extends beyond that of a coach; he acts as a defender of the club's and players' interests, constantly seeking the best way to restore Vinicius to his known level.

Vinicius Junior's contract renewal last summer until June 30, 2032 is a significant factor in providing stability for both parties, both in the current phase and during upcoming transfer windows.

The player has participated in 12 matches so far, scoring one goal and providing three assists, which are lower numbers than usual for a player of his abilities and potential.

Vinicius Junior is continuing to work to regain his starting position and the level that made him an indispensable player in previous seasons, while being aware of the expectations and pressures associated with wearing the Real Madrid shirt. However, he is determined to continue with the club, as it was clear during renewal negotiations that he sees his future within the royal team.
