Blanés close to leaving Ittihad
Ramon Planes is close to leaving Al-Ittihad, as his name has emerged among the candidates to take over as the sporting director at FC Juarez in the Mexican league.
According to the Spanish newspaper 'Estadio Deportivo', Blanés has traveled to Mexico in recent days and was seen inside the facilities of FC Juarez, which has fueled speculation about his future.
Although FC Juarez have not officially announced the appointment of Planis, his presence at the club's headquarters and his appearance in the administrative work environment indicate that the two parties are nearing an agreement.
The developments come after a change in Blanis's status within the federation, as the club's management terminated his duties as sporting director and withdrew his executive powers, before temporarily transitioning him to an advisory role.
Blanés is also linked to a Mali case with the federation regarding the dues from his contract, coinciding with his distancing from the club's executive structure.
Blanés has entered negotiations with FC Juarez during the past period to take on the role of sporting director, before the negotiations advanced with his appearance in Mexico.
If the step is completed, Blanés will begin a new experience in the Mexican league after his time in the administrative structure of Ittihad, with anticipation for the official announcement of his future.
