Sami Al-Trabelsi: Electricity are a special team but we are determined to take all three points

Tunisian police club coach Sami Al-Trabelsi and defender Maitham Jabbar held a press conference today, Friday, to discuss the team's upcoming match against Al-Kahrabaa tomorrow evening, Saturday, at Al-Qafas Stadium in the eighth round of the Iraqi Premier League.

Tunisian coach Sami Al-Trabelsi began his remarks by saying: "The team delivered a great match against Al-Seeb of Oman and we achieved an important away victory with a single goal in the AFC Champions League 2, but that is now in the past. Our full focus is on the match against Al-Kahrabaa in the league."

Al-Trabelsi added: "Al-Shurta started poorly but we are beginning to regain our balance. We are now in 6th place with 12 points and our goal is to reach the top four. The match against Al-Kahrabaa will be very difficult and we should not look at their position in the league table."

He added: "Al-Kahrabaa are a dangerous and always impressive team in the Stars League, boasting talented players led by Ahmad Aaid, who is considered one of the best talents in Iraq. They excel in transitions and play fast football, and we must avoid surprises and be at the peak of our concentration."

Al-Trabelsi confirmed: "We aim to come away with all three points, we will play offensively but with caution, our fans expect a lot from us and we promise to fight until the last minute."

For his part, Al-Shorta defender Maitham Jabbar said: "The match against Al-Kahrabaa is very important for us; we are coming off an important Asian victory that has given us great confidence, and now we want to translate that confidence into a win in the league."

Jabbar added: "As players, we know that we started off sluggishly, but we are now in a phase of correcting our course, and a win against Al-Kahrabaa will bring us closer to the top teams."

Speaking about facing the Electricity attack, he said: "Electricity have good strikers and a fast team, but as a defensive line, we are ready to deliver a great match and stop their danger. I have studied their strengths and we will work to neutralize them. Our goal is to keep a clean sheet and achieve victory."
