In a crucial moment, Al-Shorta prepare for one of their major continental challenges as head coach Hussein Abdul Wahid and forward Mohanad Ali Mimi attend a press conference ahead of their match against Al-Hussein from Irbid, Jordan, scheduled to take place this evening, Tuesday, at the Amman International Stadium for the fourth round of the AFC Champions League 2. They aim to highlight the team's readiness and ambitions to return with a full score.

The head coach of Al-Shorta, Hussein Abdul Wahid, emphasized the importance and difficulty of the upcoming match against a respected team like Al-Hussein. He pointed out that the coaching staff studied the opponent carefully after their last encounter a week ago in Baghdad.

Abdul Wahid said during the press conference:

"The match is important against a respectable team that has a distinguished technical staff. We faced them a week ago, which gives us a good understanding of their capabilities, and we are working on making some tactical changes to suit the requirements of the encounter. We look forward to strengthening our lead and continuing to shine in the tournament, making the Iraqi and Al-Shorta fans particularly happy."

The coach of Al-Hussein added, speaking about the identity and style of the team:

"The shape of Al-Hussein Irbid's team has changed in the AFC Champions League, but we have our own style that we will rely on in this match. We also have a distinguished group of players, a mix of experience and youth, and I always count on them for their potential and technical abilities."

He continued by confirming the realistic handling of the pressure from the schedule.

"Being at the top of the group places a great responsibility on us, and we must work to maintain it. Additionally, the pressure of matches between the Iraq Stars League and the AFC Champions League forces us to adopt a rotation policy to keep the players ready, and despite some absences, most of the team is in perfect readiness to play tomorrow's match."

Al-Shorta striker Mohanad Ali has expressed complete readiness and unwavering determination among the players to deliver a high-level football performance that befits the reputation of Iraqi football and enhances the team's campaign in the tournament.

Mime stated:

"Our preparations are good for this match, and the players are in top readiness. We look forward to delivering a good technical performance that befits the reputation of Iraqi football."

He added, touching on the importance of the match and the support from the fans:

"We need to focus significantly on this match, which is of great importance to us in order to secure the points. We hope to please our fans with a positive result. We also wish for the Iraqi community present in Oman to support the team and stand by it throughout the minutes of the match."
