Abo Qir coach: The draw was unfair facing Pyramids, Zamalek and Al Ahly

Abo Qir's coach Magdy Abdel-Aty praised his team's performance against Al Ahly FC despite the loss on Tuesday in the Egyptian League.

Abo Qir lost to Al Ahly FC 2-0 on Tuesday evening in the fifth round of the Egyptian League.

Abdel Aati stated in remarks after the match: "I congratulate Al Ahly FC on the victory, and we did a very good job given the circumstances and available resources, and I do not want to say that I am wronged because of the schedule and the arrangement of the matches."

He added: "We put in a very good performance and were a match for Al Ahly FC. We were close to equalizing in the second half, and I cannot blame any player for what they delivered in the match."

Abo Qir's manager stated: "The draw has been a bit unfair to us due to the ranking of the opponents, as we played against Pyramids, Zamalek, and Al Ahly FC, and if there had been some luck, the result could have been different."

The coach added: "Al Ahly FC is not in its best form, and we tried to come back into the match. I thank the players for their effort in the game."
