Al Ahly FC do not mind the return of Wissam Abu Ali to the team

Mohamed Tarek Ada has confirmed that Al Ahly FC does not oppose the return of Palestinian player Wissam Abu Ali to the team in the near future, with just one condition.

Wissam Abu Ali has left Al Ahly FC to join Columbus Crew in the summer of 2025, but his experience with the new team has not gone as expected due to an injury sustained recently.

Mohamed Tarek Ada said during his programme "Al Match" broadcast on "Sada El Balad" channel: "Al Ahly FC welcomes the return of Wissam Abu Ali, should he terminate his contract with his club, whether in January or during the current period, provided that he returns to the team for free."

He added: "Al Ahly FC sees that Wissam Abu Ali is the best striker in recent times, but he has informed him of the necessity to terminate his contract with his club and return to Al Ahly FC without compensation, after which his salary will be determined."
