Voltaide's future at Juventus in doubt as Newcastle watches
Reports suggest that the first few months of Nik Völkmaide's time with Juventus could be crucial in determining his future with the Italian club, after the German forward moved to Torino on loan from Newcastle until the end of the season.
According to Le Rider, Newcastle United are closely monitoring Voltaimade's development during his time at Juventus, with the possibility of starting negotiations regarding his future during the winter transfer window in January, should the player fail to establish himself in Luciano Spalletti's plans.
The report indicated that Newcastle may request around £45 million for the permanent departure of Voltaimade, with Juventus having priority in the deal, giving the Italian club an advantage if they decide to move to secure the player's future after the early months of the season.
Voltaimade has started his new adventure in Italy after a tough time at Newcastle, while Matthias Jaisle, the English team's coach, confirmed that he still values the player highly and hopes he gets the chance to play and shine with Juventus. Therefore, the coming months will be a real test of the German forward's ability to convince the management of 'La Vecchia Signora' to sign him permanently.
