Ali Hamdi: I am not sad about not joining Ahly or Zamalek
Ali Hamdi, the current midfielder for Bank El Ahly and former player for Talaea El Gaish, has clarified that his entire focus is currently on training and matches with his team. The player indicated that he has entrusted the negotiations with clubs interested in signing him to his agent, adding that every step will be taken at the appropriate time.
Mohamed Hamdi stated in an interview on the ORA League Stars program with Ahmed El Masry via On Sport FM: "I am not sad about not joining Al Ahly or Zamalek, I am happy to be at Bank El Ahly, and I am fully confident that everything will come at the right time."
The former Talaea El Gaish player added: "Playing for Al Ahly or Zamalek is a dream for any player; both are big teams, and wearing the red or white shirt is a great honor for any player."
He said: "The Egypt national team has made everyone happy with what they presented in the World Cup, and Captain Hossam Hassan is a great coach. He does not rely on a specific group, but gives opportunities to everyone, and God willing, he will take the team far. I hope to join the national team and play under the leadership of the General as soon as possible."
Ali Hamdi concluded his remarks: "God willing, I will join the Egypt national team and play as a starter, and I hope Mohamed Hamdi returns as well, along with Osama Faisal and Mahmoud El Gazar from Bank El Ahly."
