Bank El Ahly have suffered a major blow after it was confirmed that first-team striker Osama Faisal has a torn meniscus.

Bank El Ahly stated in an official statement: "Dr. Mohamed El-Asyouti, head of the medical staff at Bank El Ahly, announced that the medical examinations and scans that Osama Faisal underwent confirmed that he has a tear in his knee cartilage, which necessitates urgent surgical intervention."
