Manchester United lead the race to sign Pierre Kalulu, a defender from Juventus, amid interest from Liverpool and Tottenham in acquiring the player's services in the near future.

According to "CaughtOffside" citing "Fussball Nwes", Manchester United are ahead of their rivals in the race to sign Kalulu, after the 26-year-old defender has shown good performances at Juventus.

Kalulu has the physical and technical abilities that qualify him to play in the Premier League, and he could be a suitable option for Manchester United, who are searching for a long-term solution to replace Harry Maguire.

In contrast, Tottenham may face difficulty in completing the deal, having strengthened their defense with several signings during the summer, while signing a new defender seems more logical for Liverpool, given Virgil van Dijk's advancing age and Joe Gomez's injury problems.

Kalulu is under contract with Juventus until 2029, and the Italian club is looking to renew his deal. They are not under pressure to sell him, and estimates suggest that his departure could cost around €50 million.

It remains unclear whether Manchester United will make a formal offer, or if rival clubs are willing to raise the required amount to secure the services of the French defender.
