Spalletti erupts in anger at Cabal after thrilling finish against AZ Alkmaar

Luciano Spalletti, Juventus' head coach, exploded in anger at his defender Juan Cabal during the closing minutes of the match against AZ Alkmaar, after consecutive defensive errors nearly cost his team a crucial win in the UEFA Europa League.

According to what was revealed by "La Repubblica", Spalletti shouted at his Colombian player warning him not to repeat the mistake, saying: "I will punch you if you do that again!".

The anger of Juventus' coach came after AZ Alkmaar managed to reduce the deficit in the closing minutes, before the home side scored an equaliser in stoppage time. However, the video technology ruled it out for offside, allowing the Bianconeri to maintain their victory by a score of 2-1.

Juventus dominated large periods of the match and managed to take a two-goal lead, but a thrilling finish and defensive errors angered Spalletti, who appeared dissatisfied with his players' lack of focus at crucial moments, despite ultimately coming away with three valuable points.
