Golovin rejects Spartak and Zenit offers and insists on staying with AS Monaco
Alexander Golovin's future with AS Monaco remains open to several possibilities, despite interest from several Russian clubs in acquiring his services recently.
According to Foot Mercato, Golovin has attracted interest from Spartak Moscow and Zenit St. Petersburg, but the financial offers made to the player, particularly regarding salary, were not convincing for him.
Based on this, unless there is a surprising development, Aleksandr Golovin is expected to continue his journey with AS Monaco in the coming months.
The Russian player has renewed his contract with the French club until 2029, but AS Monaco's economic situation may impose new changes in the future, as the club faces pressure from DNCG, the body responsible for financial oversight of French clubs, which may push the management to make new decisions regarding some players when the winter transfer market opens.
