Major League Soccer could be a potential destination for French star Paul Pogba, who is still searching for a new club to resume his career after parting ways with AS Monaco last summer.

The Daily Mail reports that Major League Soccer appears to be the most serious option for former Manchester United and Juventus player Paul Pogba. The report indicates that Pogba's name has been offered to several American clubs since August, as those around the player search for a suitable opportunity for his return to competition.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup champion has been linked with several American clubs, including D.C. United and Inter Miami, where Argentine Lionel Messi plays, as well as New York City. However, none of these clubs have reportedly entered into concrete negotiations with the player so far, while a move to the Saudi Pro League does not seem to be the most likely option at this stage.

Paul Pogba is 33 years old and has had a difficult season with AS Monaco, having played only six matches after returning to the pitch following a reduced suspension for doping. With uncertainty surrounding his future, a move to Major League Soccer could provide him with the opportunity to regain playing minutes and relaunch his career in a new environment, but his next destination has yet to be determined.
