Algerian international Nabil Bentaleb raised concerns during Lille's match against Real Betis after being forced to leave the pitch at half-time in the encounter that brought the two teams together in the first round of the UEFA Champions League.

Nabil Bentaleb started the match as a starter and delivered a good performance in midfield for Lille, before feeling unwell which forced the coaching staff to substitute him and avoid the risk of him continuing in the second half.

Lille coach Davide Ancelotti explained the reason for the player's exit, confirming that Nabil Bentaleb suffered from a migraine accompanied by vision disturbances, which made it impossible to continue the match.

Ancelotti stated that the player is no longer seeing well, which is why the coaching staff preferred to substitute him as a precaution, without indicating that there is a serious injury or concerning diagnosis at this time.

Nabil Bentaleb's exit came on a tough night for Lille, who were leading Real Betis 2-1 at half-time, before the Spanish team turned the match around in the second half to win 3-2.

Lille suffered another blow during the match with Ethan Mbappé's red card in the 56th minute, after he received a red card for an elbow challenge on Nathan. The French team completed the match with ten players and conceded the losing goal in the final minutes.

Lille are awaiting updates on Nabil Bentaleb's condition in the coming hours, especially since the player is considered one of the important elements in the team's midfield. However, there is currently no confirmation that he has suffered a serious injury.
