Jussef Nasrawe extends contract with Red until 2028
Austrian club SV Oberbank Red has extended the contract of young midfielder Jussef Nasrawe until 2028, in a move that confirms the club's commitment to the 19-year-old player and its ongoing efforts to develop him in the coming years.
Jussef Nasrawe has joined Red Bull from Bayern Munich, having previously represented Germany at U16 and U17 levels. The player also received the opportunity to represent the Iraqi national team for the first time in May 2026, marking the beginning of a new phase at the international level.
Sporting director Lukas Brandl has stated that Jussef Nasrawe has already shown glimpses of his great potential during his time with the team, noting that the decision to sign him permanently in the summer and then extend his contract until 2028 was a clear result of the development he has shown.
Brandel stated that the club is looking forward to a shared future with the player and working to establish his position in the Bundesliga, confirming that Jussef Nasrawe has the ability to make a significant leap in his level in the upcoming period.
