Ittihad loan trio to Abha, Al Khaleej and Al Ettifaq

Ittihad have agreed to loan out three of their players. Abdulilah Hussawi has moved to Ittifaq, Mateo Borrell has joined Abha, and Fawaz Al-Sqoor has been loaned to Al Khaleej.

The federation has announced its approval of Al-Ettifaq's request to loan Hawsawi until the end of the current season, with the management wishing the player success and hoping he benefits from this new professional experience.

Hawsawi returned to Ittihad last season after a loan spell at Al Khaleej the season before, but he only played 12 matches before falling out of favour with coach Jens Vissing.

Mateo Borrell has joined Abha for one season as the 'Leader of the South' looks to strengthen its squad ahead of the closing of the summer transfer window in the Saudi Pro League.

Abha revealed the signing through its official account on the platform "X", writing: "A new challenge with greater ambition.. Mateo Borrell is an Abha player," welcoming the player.

Mateo Borrell is 20 years old and belongs to the youth category. He previously had a loan experience last season before returning to Ittihad.

Abha sit bottom of the Saudi Pro League after five rounds, having collected just one point from a draw and four defeats. They hope that their new signings will help improve their results.

Ittihad has loaned Fawaz Al-Sqoor to Al Khaleej after the right-back was left out of coach Jens Vissing's plans, giving him a new chance to participate.

Al Khaleej welcomed Fawaz Al-Sqoor via its official account on the 'X' platform, stating: 'The pearl welcomes Fawaz Al-Sqoor', in an announcement of the player's joining the team.

The trio's loans are part of the club's efforts to reorganize its squad and give some players more playing time as Saudi clubs prepare for the current season.
