Decision at Al-Ittihad regarding contract renewal with Saad Al-Mousa

Al-Ittihad have moved to open negotiations for the renewal of defender Saad Al-Mousa's contract as part of the club's plan to retain his services, especially with his free agency period approaching and the possibility of negotiating with other clubs.

According to sources, the sporting management is preparing to start official negotiations with Saad Al-Mousa in the coming period, aiming to agree on a new contract that ensures his continued presence with the team for years to come.

Saad Al-Mousa's contract with Al-Ittihad expires in June 2027, and he is nearing the period that allows him to negotiate and sign with any club without returning to his current club.

Sources have confirmed that the sporting management is working in coordination with the coaching staff led by Jens Vissing to resolve the defender's future early and ensure his place in the team's plans.

The move by the federation comes despite Al-Mousa's recent absence from participation due to an ankle fracture, having undergone two surgeries and a rehabilitation program before returning to play with the under-21 team.
