Wijnaldum undergoes medical ahead of joining Al-Ittihad

According to Al-Riyadiyah, Dutch midfielder Jorginho Wijnaldum is currently undergoing a medical examination in preparation for his transfer to Al-Ittihad during the current transfer window.

According to sources, the player will officially sign with Al-Ittihad if he successfully passes his medical tests, in a free transfer after leaving Al-Ettifaq.

Wijnaldum represents a strong addition to the midfield of 'Al Ittihad', given his vast experience in European football, alongside his prior familiarity with the atmosphere of the Saudi Pro League after his previous stint with Al-Ettifaq.

During three seasons with Al-Ettifaq, the Dutch star played 101 matches, scoring 38 goals and providing 17 assists, before becoming a free agent and now nearing a return to the Saudi Pro League through Al-Ittihad.
