Arsenal turn the tables on Chelsea in London derby

Arsenal achieved a thrilling victory over Chelsea with a score of 2-1 in the London derby that brought the two teams together at the Emirates Stadium, as part of the third round of the Premier League.

Chelsea started the match strongly, taking the lead early through Morgan Rogers after just 2 minutes, capitalising on a pass from Hato to give his team an early advantage against the hosts.

Arsenal responded quickly, as they managed to find the net against Chelsea through Riccardo Calafiori in the 12th minute, but the referee disallowed the goal for offside, before the Gunners continued to apply pressure in search of an equaliser.

Arsenal equalised in the 25th minute through Kai Havertz, following an assist from Declan Rice, allowing the London side to get back into the match and regain their balance before the end of the first half.

With the start of the second half, Arsenal completed a thrilling comeback, as captain Martin Ødegaard scored to give his team the lead in the 50th minute, benefiting from a decisive pass from Tzolis, allowing his team to maintain the advantage until the final whistle.

With this victory, Arsenal have raised their tally to 9 points, drawing level with leaders Manchester City, while Chelsea remain on 6 points in fourth place.
