Eintracht Frankfurt moves to sign Joselu on final day of transfer window
Eintracht Frankfurt are considering a surprise move for Spanish striker Joselu on the final day of the transfer window, according to Sky Sports.
Joselu, 36, is currently a free agent after his contract with Al-Gharafa ended. Negotiations are already taking place between him and Eintracht Frankfurt regarding a potential return to the club.
Eintracht Frankfurt face competition for Joselu, who has options in Spain, with SS Lazio also showing interest and making contact, alongside interest from 1.FC Union Berlin in the Bundesliga. However, Frankfurt's interest is considered the most serious so far.
Joselu previously played for Eintracht Frankfurt during the 2013-2014 season on loan, before continuing his career with several clubs, culminating in a spell at Real Madrid, where he excelled in the 2023-2024 season. He also won the Euro 2024 title with the Spain national team.
