Last chance for Ahmed Khattab at Ghazl El Mahalla

Ameer Hisham has reported that the future of Ahmed Khattab, the manager of Ghazl El Mahalla, depends on the results of the next two matches against Bank El Ahly and Zamalek, as they are seen as his last chance to remain in his position. He noted that any further failure will hasten the decision to officially dismiss him.

He stated on his programme Modern Sports, which is broadcast on Modern MTI channel: "The closest candidate to succeed Khattab at Ghazl El Mahalla is Alaa Abdel Aal, who has welcomed the opportunity to coach the farmers' leader once again."

He added: "Ghazl El Mahalla have not achieved any victory since the beginning of the Egyptian League after losing two matches and drawing one, and there is a sense of dissatisfaction among the team's fans."

Ghazl El Mahalla sit at the bottom of the Egyptian League table with just one point.

Ghazl El Mahalla are set to face Bank El Ahly next Monday in the 4th round of the Egyptian League.
