Nice officially signs Algerian Abdelhak Ben Edir
French club Nice have announced today, Tuesday, the signing of young Algerian defender Abdelhak Ben Edir, arriving from Paradou AC.
Ben Edir is 19 years old and plays as a centre-back. He represents the Algerian U23 national team and had a strong season with Paradou AC, having played 25 matches, including 22 in the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1.
Ben Eder stated after joining Nice: "I am very happy to join Nice, a club we follow a lot in Algeria, and it has previously welcomed players from Paradou AC. I hope to continue developing and show my potential at the highest level."
Roger Ricourt, the club's sporting director, has confirmed that Ben Edir will begin his European experience with the reserve team, with plans to gradually promote him to the first team. He emphasized the importance of giving him enough time to develop and not rushing his progress.
